From Today's YouVerse Verse of the Day

Every morning I reflect on the verse of the day that I get from YouVerse and if you don't have/get these, today's verse is from Romans 1:16 which reads: 

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

To me this is such a strong reminder of how we should stand up for Christ day by day and really not be embarrassed or ashamed to defend, talk, or just share about our faith in times like today.  No matter how cruel and dark the world is today, we should strive to mimic Christ and more reasons for us to share the gospel because it was truly paid at such a cost that everyone should have the chance to hear/accept. Don't let your pride outshine what's truly important.

I've said this before and I still stand by it, a lot of the teachings/letters that Paul wrote, are such a great tool/read for our times because the similarities from then and now are very close. 

I know most of you guys don't see me much or have much interaction with me, but i'm always a phone call away. :D 

And I'm not sure who is still on this or even if we still use this as an outlet.  Either way...
