Your friends can be goats too! Goat Simulator 3 has 4 player co-op, locally or online. Travel through the world of San Angora together, cause cooperative mischief aplenty, compete in 7 fun multiplayer mini-games... and then not be friends anymore.
I was playing goat simulator (pc version) and one of the achievements (such as "headbutted steel bar") had the f-bomb in it??? Is it possible to turn this off? I saw in the menu where it said "turn explicit content off" but I'm 99% sure I have it off, and I don't want to check it by checking the box and learning the hard way which is which.
Goat Simulator is a game in which -as you might have guessed- you play as a goat. But not just any goat. This goat is supernaturally resilient and has a sticky tongue, which means you can do all kinds of wild things. Being a goat has never been so entertaining.
Although there's only this one map available in the free version of Goat Simulator, it has loads of things to do. As you explore the town, you can headbutt the inhabitants, interact with other goats, jump on bouncy beds, wreck cars, and much, much more. There are loads of silly situations scattered around the town, that you can explore and add your own dose of wildness.
If Goat Simulator really was a goat simulator, you'd spend the whole game padding around a field eating grass and occasionally being milked, before ending up on a plate in some upmarket restaurant. But that would make for a rubbish game, so Coffee Stain Studios, the Swedish team behind the Sanctum series, have used artistic licence. Instead, you crash around a physics-enabled world knocking things over, headbutting people, dragging stuff around with your tongue, and generally being a pain in arse for points. Think Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, but with a goat.
Destroying things in quick succession, staying in the air for extended periods of time, and other goat-based mischief sends your score ticking up, as do other more specific actions. Terrorise a group of people having a barbecue in a backyard and you get the 'party crasher' bonus. Crush a car with a giant boulder and you get 'dodge this'. Charge through Coffee Stain's office and you earn a 'goat among legends' bonus. Discovering these is where I had the most fun with the game, but the limited map size means you'll probably uncover all the secrets and Easter eggs in an hour.
The developers know this. "You should probably spend your money on something else," they advise, wisely. But no one cares, do they? As I type this, it's the best-selling game on Steam. Because look at the funny goat! Haha! It's doing absurd things not normally attributed to a goat! Haha! And it's got ragdoll physics in it! Haha! Look at the goat! The funny goat! Hahahaha!
Of course, the destruction is all in good fun. For example, my goat launched from a trampoline onto the roof of a house and then jumped off. The physics-based gameplay made the landing as dramatic as possible, but my goat got back to its feet and started to look for the next thing to break.
Players in Goat Simulator 3 multiplayer or single player, can find the first 5G tower in Fairmeadows Ranch, which is located in the southern region of the map. After hopping the gate to gain entry to the power plant, players must locate a broken junction box. Ramming into this junction box will electrocute the goat and generate an electrical charge for a short period of time. Goat Simulator 3 players must then carry the electrical charge to 3 nodes within the power plant. Charging up all 3 nodes will activate the tower, and a giant beam of electricity will be shot across the map from one of the 3 nodes.
Starting today, Goat Simulator 3 fans can participate in the competition by entering the hashtag #PilgorsPrototypes on social media and sharing their imaginative designs for goat gear they would love to see in the game.
The first-place winner not only gets the honor of having their design added to the game but also receives their choice of a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. Two runners-up will also have their prototypes incorporated into Goat Simulator 3. Additionally, all three winners will receive a special Goat in a Box edition of the game, complete with a goat plushie, as well as a Goat Kit containing customized items to fulfill their goaty dreams in real life.
Everyone's favorite hooved menace is back on mobile with the launch of Goat Simulator 3 for iOS and Android, Swedish developer Coffee Stain Studios announced. As before, you play in an open world as a mayhem-loving goat in order to cause maximum chaos and ruin the day of as many NPC's as possible. The latest version dials up the destruction with accessories like jetpacks, rocket launchers and supercharged headbutts, while letting you kit out your goats with dubious fashion accessories.
The mobile versions offers much the same feature set found on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, particularly the co-op multiplayer support. Other mobile features include multiple goat options (tall, fishy, with hats), an "OK amount" of quests in the open world, mini-games, "ragdoll physics that slap Newton in the face" and more, according to the Play Store listing.
Goat Simulator famously started as a jokey demo for Global Game Jam 2014, replete with bugs, bizarre physics and just a weird, weird concept. Herds of players loved the alpha version, though, so Coffee Stain elected to release it as a full game, leaving in the floppy necks, intersecting meshes and ability to use your goat's tongue to walk up construction cranes somehow.

In 1662, during the MMO ages, goats were a domestic species that ruled all the Goat region. They served in the Goat and Sheep wars for many days, and lost most of the population. After the war, humans recognized goats as gods. Soon after the war humans domesticated goats and began building cities on their land. The goat population was heavily reduced to about 10 average at each town and city. In the 21st century goats began rampaging across the Goat region, and humans classified the goats as a threat. The war against goats and humans continues on.
In 2017 (the game was actually set in 2014) Pilgor time travels to the past in 1662, and reeks havoc in the Medival times, while again, goats were a domestic species that ruled all the Goat region. Soon after the war humans domesticated goats and began building cities on their land. The goat population was heavily reduced to about 10 average at each town and city. Literally called "A Goat", the outfit consists of Goat Simulator's protagonist Pilgor looking weirdly buff and wearing a crop top, jeans, and a belt with the number 3 engraved on it. The crop top has the letters "RGDL" printed on it, presumably standing for "ragdoll" (as a goat is prone to do).
As the name implies, it is the first location you visit on the map. You begin in the house's yard, which has a fenced in area with three other goats and the Goat Tower. There is also a trampoline, a greenhouse, and the Treehouse.
Goat Simulator 3 is now out, with its goofy gameplay antics no doubt being the major draw for players, along with the game's references to other titles, including The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim's opening cart scene. What started out as a joke, with the original goat entry being developed during a Game Jam session, where people attempt to create a game from scratch in a short span of time, soon exploded into a phenomenon. As a result, 2014's Goat Simulator went down as one of the silliest and most memorable simulators in all of gaming.
Of course, with the sequel, which is being referred to as Goat Simulator 3, fans have been expecting parodies aplenty, and developer Coffee Stain Studios delivered before the game even released. The Gamescom 2022 trailer was a parody of Dead Island 2, which showed a jogger running along a pier as a bunch of goats wreak havoc in the background, headbutting pedestrians with nary a care in the world. Now that the game is out, fans will no doubt be looking out for even more references.
They won't have to look far, either, as a video from IGN shows 16 minutes of gameplay from Goat Simulator 3, and the video opens with the player waking up in the back of a cart being driven by a farmer. Said farmer then says, "You're finally awake," before continuing to give a speech about what lies ahead. This is an obvious reference to Skyrim's well-known opening cutscene, in which the player wakes up in a cart with some other prisoners and is being driven to Helgen for execution. In this parody, however, there is no execution for the goat protagonist, and the farmer, who even refers to the vehicle as the "Skyrim cart," releases the animal to wander the land.
Coffee Stain Studios has come up with this third person perspective simulation video game named Goat Simulator 2014 in which the player is playing as a goat and has to do as much damage as he can in an open world. The game was started as a joke and some of the videos were uploaded on YouTube. But when the stakeholders behind Goat Simulator realized that how much attention Goat Simulator is gaining then they planned to come out with a fully featured game.
