But, sorting photos by file creation date in albums is not one of those things. It is one of the biggest complaints I see and it's been a problem for ages. Nearly everyone would like the ability to create an album, share it, and start filling it with photos so they display in a CHRONOLOGICAL order.
I understand that you are having trouble sorting photos by file creation date in albums on OneDrive. Unfortunately, there is currently no sorting option in the album, nor can you customize the sorting of photos, you can only sort photos by folders.
