This is probably one of the most useful tools I have found this year. @Kopernio saves you many clicks to get from a search result to the journal article's pdf file. Then just a quick drag-n-drop to #endnote and voila! I Highly recommend it!
EndNote Online is the online component of EndNote. All Pitt students and faculty have access to EndNote Online when you download the EndNote desktop software. You can sign up for an account at myendnoteweb.com. For verification purposes, you have to do this from a computer on the Pitt network, using your Pitt email address.
EndNote Online: An online version of EndNote is available for free for any users, regardless of university affiliation. Creating an online account will also allow for online backup of your EndNote Desktop library. Create an account at myendnoteweb.com; please note that when you sign up, you can use any email address to create your account and are not required to use your VT email address. Please make sure your password adheres to VT's password guidelines.
For additional help with EndNote at Newman Library, contact endnote-...@vt.edu. Please included a detailed description of the problem you're experiencing, as well as any screenshots of the error. You can also sign up for a virtual consultation here (select Citation Managers from the list of topics).
Now you must save this file as a .ris file. To do this, change the .html to .ris. Make sure you give it a name you can remember and put it someplace where you can find it. I usually label mine as endnote citations.ris and put it on the desktop of my computer.
