Thisshaderpack is a recreation of a modified version of SEUS v10.1 I used privately for a long time. Took me a while to match some of the unique looks the SEUS version had but I eventually figured it out. Please note that this pack does not perform better than SEUS v10.1 with the default settings due to many new effects that didn't exist in that version, like volumetric clouds and fog. With the correct settings however it is able to outperform it by a lot while producing much better visuals. It is also important to note that this pack does not use any code from SEUS v10.1.

The biggest change is without doubt the significant visual overhaul, which is pretty much in line with the major visual shifts my other packs have seen with their latest major updates. In this the case the visual overhaul has actually brought UShader a lot closer to the original SEUS v10.1 modification of mine that was trying to somewhat imitate but in a modern way. This starts with the much more vibrant skies that now feature deeper blues and sunsets with a very distinct and atmospheric purple tint as well as the overall improved clouds, which now also use temporal upscaling.

The lighting has also seen a major upgrade through the addition of screen-space ray-traced ambient occlusion (RTAO), which also includes directional skylight and subtle bounced indirect lighting to give everything a more authentic and cohesive look.

Another highlight are the visuals in The End, which I have completely overhauled to give it a nice and unique visual appearance through volumetric and a skybox that features a black hole with faux-gravitational lensing.

Last but not least UShader is now internally rendering in the Rec2020 colour-space, which is one of the key reasons of the major improvements in colour rendering. In order to give those among you with wide gamut displays a way to properly leverage this I have added a setting that allows you to select the gamut of your display, allowing the tonemapper of the shaderpack to calculate its final result in the colour gamut of your display. This allows you to get a correct and not-oversaturated presentation of the game visuals while also leveraging the more vibrant colours of DCI-P3 for example if applicable.

I installed GLSL-shaders mod.

But when im in my game and I want to turn shaders on and i want to use SEUS, when I click it whole minecraft automatically crashes!

I dont what to do.

Anyone knows how to help?

i installed the shaders etc. but when i start a new world with the seus shaders equiped my screen exist out of seven little screens in the bottom left cornor (note that i also installed optifine with the shaders)

i can see the leaves became windy, but i dont know where did i do wrong, but the screen went black and the only place i can see is at the bottom left of minecraft client with a few message such as invalid program final, mind helping?

For the most part everything works. My only issue is rain and snow. I cant see rain falling, just what looks like transparent dragonflies bouncing on blue berries hovering on the floor. Snow is invisible. Anyone have a fix for this?

All I see when I turn shaders on is pitch black, with 7 diff images of screen, each one getting smaller and smaller, and blurier, and blurier, and no, Im not holusinating, but i can see all guis just fine(pause menu, inventory, f3, and the little plus sign in middle of screen) plz help this is best shaders version out there

Please note that ALL Mobs are Pitch Black and so are Signs. You can not read it at all, And mobs are completely black. No idea what is wrong with the shaders but when I removed GLSL Shaders my game works fine.

So im getting a odd issue where about 1/4 of the textures have a thin transparent diagonal which when holding a torch lights up every affected diagonal so that everything affected has a bright lite up stripe on it but only when holding a torch (red and normal) also its not a texture pack ive tried 10 diffrent ones and the default its all the same on all of em. also, its mostly stone, cobble, and a couple flowers, i saw a few random pumpkins with it but not all of them which i thought odd as well but most every other texture looks fine.

I HAD the same problem but I fixed it, what you have to do is delete your .minecraft folder and re-download everything for .minecraft, then you make sure the connected textures are not on, they crash the textures, and boom your ready to go!

i have a bug with the chats when i join a server or load a world some white thick and thin stripes suddenly appears i cant seem to read any chat messages or signs also it only happen when i join or load a world/server but everything works great anyone has a fix for it? also i reload the resource pack so many times it still dont work

hay can someone help me, ive downloaded the 10.2 and the 1.0.1 and none of them look like the first three pictures, i want to see the wood texture, idk if im just not downloading the right versions or what, pls help.

I love v11 but the renewed don t run at all it say error invalid program and i can t see anything, i have a very good pc so its not me and with the v11 all settings at maximum i run with 100fps so i don t know why the renewed don t work. But the v11 is very cool.

go to options/video settings/shaders and click on the seus you can modify it by pressing the buttons on the right and the config button on the bottom right make sure you press done when you are finshes

The problem with shader packs is that they are resource intensive and will probably not work properly with integrated graphics or will lag a lot. We do not recommend using shader packs with integrated graphics.

i have tried using the shaders, but i had a graphical bug where everything was all one color and the outlines of the blocks were the same color as everything else. IE on the land above ground everything was green

Want to try out the very best Minecraft shaders? Minecraft has always had a charming look, but those deceptively simple 8x8 pixel textures truly pop when combined with the dynamic real-time lighting, ray-traced shadows, and volumetric fog of a top-tier shader pack. Minecraft shaders have been around for many years now, and each one offers something slightly different in their quest to turn your worlds into drop-dead gorgeous works of art.

There are more shader packs to choose from than ever been before, and downloading and installing them has also never been more straightforward. The issue comes with deciding on just one shader pack to use - because unlike Minecraft texture packs, you can't layer shader packs on top of one another to combine their effects. Some shaders focus more on lighting, others on the sea, others still on weather effects. Some are lightweight, while others are behemoths that require top-tier PCs to run on max settings.

To help sort you out and get you started, we've compiled a definitive list of the very best shaders you can currently use with the latest version of Minecraft, version 1.20.4. Below you can peruse screenshots and writeups on over two dozen different Minecraft shader packs, and pick which lighting makeover is the best fit for you and your newest survival world!

If you want to spend some time comparing the different Minecraft shaders in this list and figuring out which shader pack is best for you, we can help with that. Below is a gallery of screenshots, all of the same Minecraft river scene, but each with different shaders active. Have a flick through the gallery and see which shader pack you like most!

AstraLex Shaders is a fairly recent shader pack, and an offshoot of the widely-used BSL Shaders. What struck me from the beginning was AstraLex Shaders' impressive and comprehensive set of customisation options, which allow to you tweak just about everything you can imagine, from specific lighting tones to various post-processing effects. One of my favourite features is a neat black bar effect which comes into play when you're crouching. It may seem like a small gimmick, but it quickly became one of the main selling points of this shader pack in my mind.

Out of the box, AstraLex Shaders look utterly beautiful (they are based on BSL, after all). Everything is crisp and vibrant, and the skyboxes are lovely - particularly at night. Some users might be turned off by the stylised star constellations, but I personally love them.

Beyond Belief Shaders doesn't set itself apart from the other Minecraft shaders on this list in any particular way (although the water is particularly lovely). Instead this pack provides players with a simple, pleasant balance between performance, customisation, and good looks.

Beyond Belief is built upon SEUS v11, a precursor to the SEUS Renewed shaders lower down on this list, and both shaders share several traits. However, Beyond Belief adds a few additional settings atop its foundational shader pack, including a desaturation effect at nighttime (which incidentally makes these shaders perfect for a midnight Minecraft fireworks display), and an admittedly basic celshading effect.

Good lord, BSL Shaders are beautiful. Like, really beautiful. When all's said and done, this is the shader pack that I tend to go back to for my own survival worlds, as well as any Minecraft servers I frequent. BSL Shaders are among the most popular shaders in the world, and it's easy to see why. Everything included here, from the amazing depth of field effects to the warm, crisp lighting, the beautiful water reflections, and the fluffy far-off clouds, is utterly sublime.

Thanks to the expansive array of customisation options available, BSL Shaders can also run on a wide variety of machines. This pack actually tends to run a little better for me on my (high-end) rig than many other "go-to" shaders on this list. But in this day and age, competition is fiercer than ever for the title of best Minecraft shader pack, and BSL may no longer be the undisputed king, but rather one of several strong contenders.
