Austin ACM SIGKDD - Speaker Jason Baldridge - May 16th, 7-8

The next meeting of Austin ACM SIGKDD, Big Data Machine Learning - Hackers Dojo, is Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 7:00 - 8:00 pm at Northwest Recreation Center. We have the meeting room from 6:30-9:00 pm.

Jason Baldridge, Associate Professor, Department of Linguistics, University of Texas at Austin, will be making a presentation on May 16, 2012. The topic is geolocating and how he used Hadoop in his research. Dr. Baldridge has co-taught a course on Hadoop and text analytics with Dr. Lease at UT.

Please bring your laptop, a power cord, and a power strip.
