Hello,

I'm using the same example in here https://code.google.com/p/semanticvectors/source/browse/trunk/exampleclient/src/main/java/pitt/search/examples/ExampleVectorSearcherClient.java

But trying to use my own index file. I'm trying to use BuildIndex class to build the term vector file, but not sure how this should work. I appreciate the help on how to integrate BuildIndex class to have the file termvector.bin that should be generated from my index.

Thanks,

Dominic Widdows

Hi Hadeel,

If you want to search your own index using the example client, you don't want to build it programmatically every time. You want to build it using the standard command-line approach at https://github.com/semanticvectors/semanticvectors/wiki/InstallationInstructions#to-build-and-search-a-model and tell the example client program to use your termvectors.bin file.

Best wishes,
Dominic
