Dear VocBenchers and ShowVoccers,

Shortly following 10.2 / 1.2 of VB3 and SV, we have a new fix release

Version 10.2.1 of VocBench and 1.2.1 of ShowVoc have been released today, and are available at the following pages:

VocBench: http://vocbench.uniroma2.it/downloads/

ShowVoc: http://showvoc.uniroma2.it/downloads/

All information about GraphDB and RDF4J compliancy remains the same as per the previous versions 10.2/1.2

A few words about the necessity to install a new version:

  • If you are using GraphDB SE (licensed version) we recommend you move to the new fix release for both VB and SV.
  • If not (graphdb-free or rdf4j are being used), we still recommend the upgrade for ShowVoc, while for VocBench it is not strictly necessary.

Release notes are reported below for the two applications and for their common service backend.

VocBench Web App 10.2.1

  • Added checkbox for ignoring semantic checks in Manchester editor
  • Fixed minor UI issues in search results dialog

ShowVoc Web App 1.2.1

  • Added the possibility to edit credentials for accessing a remote repo
  • Preserved hideNav param when selecting an alignment in Alignments tab
  • Fixed bug when creating dataset and not changing the configuration through the combo-box: in that case no configuration was sent (instead of the default one on the combobox: GraphDBFree) and native-store was set instead
  • Added the count of hidden results in Search page

SemanticTurkey 10.2.1

  * better semantic checks for the Manchester expressions, with the possibility to disable such checks

  * added the possibility to avoid semantic checks when creating/updating triples from a Manchester expression

  * replaced usage of users' email in favour of IRIs in system settings

  * fixed several bugs in Global Search (number of returned results, better checks on the creation of the indexes for SKOSXL projects, creting the indexes for OWL projects, deletion of indexes for a specific project)

  * fixed the use of Lucene FTS index in "GraphDB SE" projects during searches

Kind Regards,

The VocBench/ShowVoc team
