Dear VocBench&co users,

I’m forwarding this message from the European Commission (many of the participants from past editions could have received it already, so apologies for cross-posting) with an open invitation for the community to participate the new VocBench Community meeting 2026!

In this even you will have the possibility to contribute shaping the future of VocBench, ShowVoc and their satellite systems, and to learn about a new forthcoming sibling in the family: SELEN, The Semantic ELicitation Environment !

A couple of notes:

  • This year, to focus on quick interaction and discussion, we would focus less on presentations (still, there will be) and have more discussion, so we opted for physical attendance only
  • There is a limited number of places (and the deadline for registering is 8th of May, see the forwarded email below for more details)

We hope to see as many of you as possible in June in Luxembourg!

The VocBench team

Subject: VocBench Suite user community meeting 4-5 June 2026

Dear VocBench Suite user community,

We are pleased to announce that the next VocBench Community physical meeting will take place on 4–5 June 2026 at the premises of the Publications Office of the European Union in Luxembourg.

The meeting will focus on recent developments of VocBench and ShowVoc, and will also include the presentation of SELEN, our new tool for semantic auto-tagging and AI-assisted enrichment.

In addition, we will discuss the overall evolution of the VocBench and ShowVoc ecosystem, including future directions, user feedback, and how the tools can better support emerging needs such as Data Spaces, interoperability frameworks, and AI-ready data workflows.
