CfP[Update] - UniAgent @CIKM 2026 - Shared Task on Agentic AI in University Administration

Dear colleagues,

The deadlines for UniAgent have been extended: registration is open until October 3. UniAgent is the 1st Shared Task on Agentic AI in University Administration, held at CIKM 2026 in Rome.

UniAgent works toward a digital twin of a university. We prepare its administrative tasks, rules, and documents so that agents can work on them, and we evaluate these agents. A university suits this goal: its processes are standardized, its rules are written down, and its experts are close at hand.


THE TASK

An agent receives a real, anonymized case from the University of Kassel, in business travel, privately advanced costs, or procurement. The agent retrieves the regulations that apply, plans the required steps, and produces a solution that an administrator would accept, for example a compliant travel request.

Not every case can be approved as submitted. Agents must recognize such cases and give a reason.

October 3, 2026: Registration closes (extended)
October 20, 2026: System submission deadline (extended)
November 3, 2026: Notification of results
November 8, 2026: UniAgent session at the CIKM 2026 AnalytiCup
November 9 to 11, 2026: CIKM 2026 main conference, Rome

The notebook paper deadline will be announced. All deadlines are 11:59pm Anywhere on Earth (AoE).
