If you write in input file a sentence as the next:

This is a pipe and writes || in java. It means inclusive or.

then semafor doesn't work !!!

Interesting, thanks for the report. SEMAFOR 2.1 isn't being maintained anymore, but I'll make sure this problem isn't still present in SEMAFOR 3 (https://github.com/Noahs-ARK/semafor/tree/v3.0-alpha-04). I don't think it is...
