Tasleemaat.

A meeting was held in the office of Janab Nooruddin BS and attended by FHK SEM Committee members and TEC Members.

Following decisions have been arrived at regarding the Education and Career Guidance Seminar being conducted by TEC on 10th June 2012:

1. The venue would be Jamea Auditorium as the total student enrolled so far are more than 150.

2. Registration process starts at 2:30 PM

3. Program would be as follows:

First Session: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Opening address by Janab Nooruddin BS, Aamil Karachi

Speech by Bhai Abbas Hussain on 'Be an Educator' - 

Speech by Bhai Mustansir Moochala on 'Career in Finance and Financial Management'

Speech by Dr Safdar Kaagazwala on 'Career in Medical Sciences'

TEC to coordinate with the speakers. 

Second Session: 4:15 PM - 7:00 PM. 

Session Coordinator: Abbas Bhai Petiwala BPA SEM

ONE ON ONE session of the students with the councilors. - BPA SEM Education Committee to coordinate

Following needs to be accomplished:

1. Shk Mustafabhai Tawawala to arrange for Information Kiosk of Hunar and Aman Institutes along with sufficient brochures, 

2. TEC is to finalize the information on students subject-wise and prepare forms for the councilors.

3. BPA SEM Education Committee is to coordinate with Councilors (minimum 30 councilors) and get their CVs.

4. M Nooruddin bhai Quettawala is to coordinate with Husenibhai Diwan (0321-2421292) for booking of the Jamea Auditorium.

5. TEC is to finalize the list of invitees, get it approved by Nooruddin BS and issue the invitations accordingly.

6. TEC is to arrange for juice/refreshment for the participants.

7. TEC to brief TKM members of Saddar/Haideri on the Jamea seminar.

8. Mustafabhai Sirajuddin shall act as coordinator for the students on the day of seminar.

9. Shamoonbhai is to act as coordinator for the Councilors on the day of seminar.

10. Shamoonbhai is to have badges prepared for the Councilors.

11. All members of the BPA CWC are to send their CVs to Shamoonbhai please.

We will need a lap top for the formal presentations by the speakers.

Additionally, if some Councilor needs any laptop, he/she will bring their own.

Please coordinate with Shamoonbhai for the badges for the Councilors.

I have arranged for approx. 12—14 councillors in different domains.

 

I will send the list and their brief profile once I gather those.

 

Also, I would like to have 10 minutes to introduce the councilors and share certain professions in demand both inside/outside Pakistan which I will compile on power point.

 

Then we can invite the councilors on stage and have a 30 - 45 minute session followed by round table discussions.

I will make myself available after the majlis and niaz here in Shabbir 'B' Block.

I agree, the schedule is very tight so have only one main speaker. And Abbas Hussain would be the most appropriate.

After the speech of Abbas Hussain, we need to include a general Q & A session with the councilors before starting a one-on-one session with the students. 

Mustansirbhai may finalize who all will sit on the main table for the Q & A session along with Nooruddin BS.

As for the meeting on 7th, it wont be possible due to Urs Majlis (Syedna Tahir Saifuddin RA). I suggest we meet on 6th June instead that is after Khatmul Quran Majlis. Proposed venue is Taheri Masjid Complex.

Additionally, your input regarding the 10th June event is highly appreciated. I think it is a very good idea that we have a joint question and answer session with the councilors immediately after the speakers. That way, it will be a two-way dialogue instead of a monologue by the speakers.

Also, please invite as many councilors. We have over 150 student registered.

 

Amirbhai, have you got the confirmation from the speakers like Abbas Hussain bhai and Dr Safdar? If not, we have to immediately request the alternates. 

 

When can we get together to go through the preparation and finalize the event. I suggest we meet on 7th June 2012 at a convenient time to all.
