Like last year’s our RIVERMARCH, which was attended by 1500+ mumbaikars at Dahisar river.

Like last year’s our RIVERMARCH, which was attended by 1500+ mumbaikars at Dahisar river.
This year, we have scheduled 6th march as RIVERMARCH on all four rivers., we have planned 7 routes for RIVERMARCH. And are expecting atleast one lac mumbaikars to participate on any of the seven routes.
I demand to all my SELP BATCHMATES: Pls visit the our website , and take the lead for your nearest route. We need to ensure that on this 6th march, MUMBAI will create a page in history for coming together and demand their RIVER. Through RIVERMARCH.
Prior to that, on 30th JAN 2016 , at Maharashtra Nature park – Mahim, we have organised an exhibition for various methods of Rejuvenating the rivers of Mumbai. It will be addressed by many learned speakers along with some live models and ofcourse we will have the pleasure of meeting RIVERMAN of INDIA - Mr. Rajendrasingh - along with many govt. officers.
Come join the project, which has now already started shaping into movement for getting back our RIVERS.

Pls note that the historical moment for initiation of the movement is on 1st March, 2015, at 6.30 AM , starting from Rustomjee school , dahisar west. The RIVERMARCH will be attended by approx. 1200 + registered people ( including students ) . IN addition to that all are welcome to attend the event , irrespective of registrations.
The event is to create awareness about rivers of mumbai, which needs to flow in its natural stream. and we are committed to get it back .

Greetings from the River Rehabilitation Regiment (RRR) of Mumbai.
We are a group of concerned Mumbaikars who have taken up a cause of
rehabilitating all 4 rivers of Mumbai. We believe that beautiful flowing
rivers and river fronts are a necessity in our congested city life. We
believe that if these rivers can be revived and made to flow again, it will
be a great boon for the city of Mumbai…it will prevent diseases, floods,
ecological deterioration…the benefits are many.
Unfortunately, today these rivers are biologically dead. But….Fortunately,
they can be revived!
We invite you to be present at the event RIVERMARCH. ( 5km walk ) on the banks of DAHISAR RIVER., starting from Rustomjee school in Dahisar
west .
Our struggle for the river rehabilitation will not end with the event on
1st of March, but this is just the beginning to create awareness about the
rivers that were once flowing majestically thru the city. I am sure with
your support, we will be able to reach out to a wide section of society,
who may be willing to participate in this event as well as support this
cause going forward.
