Setting up a Computer Lab

Hi All,
Hope everybody are doing great. The school I'm working for as part of my SELP project has planned to setup a small Computer Lab for children they teach (Majority of the children are construction workers children and some are Rag pickers). So we are looking for some unused laptops from major IT organizations. It may not be in excellent condition but decent enough to do some basic computer operations.
So the community here, if you come across any unused laptops at your office, please get in touch with me. I have already asked in Companies like Intel, Qualcomm and IBM and waiting for their reply.

Kiran, i liked you using "Unreasonable" distinction. You have to be unreasonable when you are doing for the community. what is the minimum configuration you are looking for? I had friend who gives computers for rent I can be Unreasonable in asking him

Dear Santosh,

Thank you very much. I'm looking for a basic computer with basic minimum functionality. The age group that may use this are kids from 8-15 years only. We could have gone for a Desktop much the lab is a small room so laptop becomes more portable and easy to accommodate.

We can discuss more on this. I shall call you in the evening.
