William M. "Bill" Hack Jr.

CARDINGTON, Ohio -- William M. "Bill" Hack Jr., 68, died at 4:48 a.m.,
March 1, at his home here.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of Cardington First United
Methodist Church. He had served as the Morrow County
Sanitarian for 14 years, before becoming Clerk Treasurer for the
Village of Cardington for 9 years, and finally currently serving as the
Veterans Service Officer for Morrow County for the past 5 years.

Survivors include his wife, Greta F. Roberts Hack of Cardington,
formerly of Henderson; five children, Randy L. Hack of Woodbridge, Va.,
Linda D. Hack of Cardington, Ronald A. Hack of North Pole, Alaska,
Susan M. Frysinger of St. Henry, Ohio, and Jeffery D. Hack of Marion,
Ohio; two sisters, Joan Harper of Edison, Ohio, and Janice Kennedy of
Cardington; two brothers, Richard Hack of Cardington, and James Hack of
Fairfield, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were held March 4 at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to
Jenkins-Vaughn Post 97 Building Fund or to Hospice of
Morrow County.
