We are offering for sale, on an “as is” basis, the following equipment:

Used Solar Gas Turbine Mars 100 SoLoNOx – Natural Gas

General Information:

• Location: France
• Year of manufacture: 2012
• Output Power: 11,350 kWe
• Frequency: 50 Hz

Performance Data:

• Heat Rate: 10,935 kJ/kWe-hr (10,365 Btu/kWe-hr)
• Exhaust Flow: 153,245 kg/hr (337,950 lb/hr)
• Exhaust Temperature: 485 °C (905 °F)

Operating Data:

• Package hours: 27,206
• Gas turbine hours: 20,547
• Number of starts: 216

Configuration & Equipment:

• Skid-mounted unit installed indoors with attenuated enclosure
• Fire detection and suppression system
• Inlet system with barrier filter and silencer (roof-mounted ancillary skid)
• Gear Reduction Box: RENK MAAG GmbH – Type GPF3-28 (50 Hz / 1500 rpm)

Generator:

• Brushless AC Generator with Permanent Magnet Alternator
• Alternator: 2.2 kW, PF 0.9, 1 phase, 240V / 10A / 120 Hz

Generator Skid Includes:

• Lube oil tank, pumps, and filters
• Start system with AC direct drive motor, VFD, drive adapter, and clutch assembly
• Lube oil cooler
• Integrated PLC control system with operator interface
• Lead-acid batteries with 24V / 30A charger (single-phase input)

Condition:
The equipment is in very good condition and has been maintained by the OEM (Solar).

The gas turbine is currently in serviceable condition. The last borescope inspection was conducted on March 18, 2024. The unit has not been operated since that date. All reports are available.

Borescope Inspection Findings:

• Combustion chamber: Minor burn spot
• 1st stage nozzles: Missing material, cracks, and thermal erosion with pitting
  (Deemed serviceable by OEM; unit can continue operation until next inspection)
• 1st stage turbine blades: Minor crack and coating loss
