Announcement - You’re invited to join the new SELKS Discord channel.

Hello,
I am excited to announce the creation of a Discord channel for the SELKS community, and I would like to encourage everyone part of this SELKS Google Group to check it out and join. There are many advantages for us to move over to the Discord channel, and I hope to be able to discuss and experience them together on the channel.
What is Discord, a discord server, and its corresponding channels?
Discord is a free voice, video, and text chat app that allows a group to easily communicate with one another. A Discord server is organized into topic-based channels where you can collaborate, share, and just talk about topics of interest. We created the SELKS channel on the new Stamus Networks Community server, which also houses many network security-related topic channels such as: Suricata, Threat Hunting, and Celebrating Defenders.
Here are some benefits you can expect from the SELKS Discord channel:
Enhanced collaboration - with multiple ways to communicate: text, audio, video, 1-to-1 messaging, group messaging, and even screen sharing, sharing ideas and working together to solve a problem hasn’t been easier.
Faster response time - because of the group conversation element, when you post a question or an idea to the channel, members will be notified and because it is easier to respond in Discord, there is a high probability of receiving a faster response.
Having fun - working with others who share your passion is simply fun. Discord allows us to talk about cool SELKS stories, share new threat hunting ideas, and to give props to your fellow cyber defenders who are making a difference.
Don’t have a Discord account? Creating an account is quick and easy, and this small barrier to entry is worth it.
