Last month we invited you to participate in a research project to help us understand how you are using Suricata.
If you responded to that initial invitation, and completed the survey, we thank you.

As a valued member of the Suricata community, your experience and insights are important.
It’s because of users like you that Suricata has evolved into the leading open-source network security tool on the market.
The OISF and those helping to shape the future of Suricata-based network security could really benefit from having a better understanding of how it's being used in real-world scenarios and what challenges users face.
The resulting report from this research will provide insights that should help all who contribute to and use Suricata.
Your input is needed to make Suricata-based network security even more powerful. And your participation will directly contribute to the growth and enhancement of Suricata-related solutions.
Stamus Networks is conducting a Suricata user survey to capture the state of the user community and help inform the future of the Suricata ecosystem. We hope to make this an annual event to keep tabs on how Suricata is being used.
We will share the results in the form of a research report early next year.
