Assalamualikum Warahmatullah dear brothers and sisters,
Executive Summary (TLDR): We had to postpone our fundraiser because of the virus situation. May Allah (swt) protect us all...Aameen. The need for funds is even more severe than ever, we need your support by pledging at least the same amount as you donated last year. (Link below) If you can increase it a little bit this year, we will appreciate it tremendously.
Details: As you all know, we were supposed to have our Annual fundraiser 2 days ago but decided to suspend our event in response to the corona virus pandemic. Committee made this decision despite the loss of time, effort, money and volunteer hours to safeguard the health and well-being of our students, staff, TIA parents, donors and community.
Since 2001, Islamic Academy has always striven to maintain high standards but also keep tuition affordable so more students can take advantage of local Islamic school with the hope that the community will come together (as we always do) and make up the deficit. Alhumdulillah for the past 20 years with Allah’s mercy and your generous contributions school has never missed a single payment be it staff or a vendor, school needs your help again this year, and requesting each of you to answer the call during this turmoil.
Please acknowledge by doing one of the following,
1. Please fill the pledge form that was sent with your kids on Friday (3/13) and return it to school. Or donate online via http://www.tiapeace.org/paypal-donate/
2. Reply to this email with your contact info and donation amount, the finance office will reach out to you in sha Allah.
