Candidate must have experience in providing support, monitoring, tuning, testing,and maintenance for the department’s web-based applications and client server applications. Candidate needs to have the capabilities related development of documentation and processes of complex systems. This position provides advanced level oversight of web application configuration, provides in-depth application support, and performs troubleshooting and communications tasks. Responsibilities include: research, evaluation, software configuration and tuning, implementation, and on-going support of web-based application systems; such as, application performance management and load testing. Coordinate resolution of web-based application issues and work to tune them for optimum performance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The candidate would be expected to utilize industry standard best practices and methodologies and provide knowledge transfer to other staff through both direct communication and formal documentation. Rotating 24x7 on-call is required. In-person interview required.
