Hi,everybody,

This is tzumin peng. I am form Taiwan and going to join the class of
ELI starting from 4/25.
Actually, my visa application in Taiwan is still not finished and I am
not so sure to be able to meet you all. I hope it goes smoothly and
see you all soon.
it is so excited that I could join ELI of UD to enhance my English
with you all. In addition to that, it is very important as well for
experiencing different thought and culture. It is hoped that I can
have much harvest at the future class of ELI throught your help.
Because of many reasons, I can only join one session of class at UD
but it is so happy you have this place to discuss some topics in
English with friends and enhance my English at the sme time. I cannot
wait for my learning there.
Could you all have any suggestion for me studying at ELI? Please give
me some advise. I always think my listening and speaking are the most
worse parts of mine in English learning.
In addition, how about your opinion about experiencing American life
or making friends? Is there any methods to improve my English
continuingly through ELI’s help?

Welcome to the group, Tzumin! Glad to hear you will be coming to the
ELI soon.

As far as improving listening/speaking or getting involved at the ELI,
I would definitely participate in as many groups and activities as
possible. The trips, the garden club, the International Culture Club,
the Book Club - these are all great ways to get to make some new
friends and improve your English.
