Hi everyone,

What classes are you taking this session? What are you most excited
about and why? What are you most worried about and why?

I'm teaching Drama A - I'm excited to have a new group of students,
but I'm worried that 8:30 in the morning is very early for some of
them!

Hi

I'm taking now GEN V in R/W & 1960s in L/S .. 1960s seems very interesting class, it talking about the USA during that time, & the teacher is great, he know that time history very well.

The most thing I'm warred about is GRAMMAR D: it's very hard sometimes.

Wish you luck guys

Grammar can be difficult - no question about that!

What do you think is the most difficult part of studying grammar?

Some time I can answer the grammar quiz very good but writing grammatically correct is something not easy.

Absolutely - it can be very hard to take what you learn in grammar and
use it in your writing and it is a challenge for many students.

You can start with identifying errors in other people's writing - it
may help you practice so you can eventually find the errors in your
own writing.
Here's one website I found for practice:

In my opinion, using correct grammar and some high quality patterns
depend on your experience on writing. In light of this, The
fundamental rule is to choose verbs with their correct parts such as -
Subject + want + someone + to do something-, many high quality
academic verbs have its own different rule. However, you should also
use many conjunction in order to increase of the fluency. Based on
this, we can easily say that using many conjunction with many mistakes
aids you to catch the essential point in the writing. I hope you can
improve your self very well in the ELI with masters of writing.

(By the way, Who is taking 1960s L/S? I don't know his or her name!!!
maybe we take same class:)!!!!!)
And I think accuracy of oral grammer and writing is difficult for me.
