chromedriver: App under test entirely displayed in Chrome's bottom section

After upgrading to chrome and chromedriver 146.0.7680.177, I started to intermittently see the entire application under test displayed at the bottom of the screen as shown in  the following image. This wasn't happening with previous version (144).

My code has not changed nor has the options passed to chromedriver. I'm using Selenium Driver's python bindings. I tried upgrading to latest Selenium Driver version (4.41.0) but I get the same behavior. 

Sometimes it does not happen for many runs, then it happens once twice or, sometimes,  several times in a row then back to normal. I haven't been able to identify a pattern of failure.

If I look at elements in dev tools, I can't find the app's elements, it's like it is displayed outside the html seen by the dev tools. The app is perfectly responding however, it's just that it is confined to the bottom section and I have to scroll inside that section to see it.

Any ideas on what could cause that behavior?
