Select from dropdown in selenium-webdriver javascript

How to select a value from drop down using selenium-webdriver JavaScript bindings. I do see that Select is available in Java. I have seen similar option in C# also. Couldn't find anything in JavaCcript to handle select option. Any help will be appreciated.

Only examples are missing, right? Are you sure it is not implemented in JavaScript binding.

It seems Select is not implemented in Javascript Bindings. Please correct me if i am wrong.

From my cursory look, it appears to be implemented https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/blob/941dc9c6b2e2aa4f701c1b72be8de03d4b7e996a/javascript/selenium-core/scripts/selenium-api.js#L959.

If it doesn't work Mathew, then pleas provide a pic of the DOM of the select list. There are other ways of accessing it.

The project I work on has select list that I have not seen at other projects that I have worked on.

DoSelect API is more of like old Selenium RC api[Before webdriver]
