What browser does remote webdriver use?

Hi there,

I am needing to run tests on multiple devices in order to check how my application runs on the different browsers. From what I can tell, the Remote WebDriver's dont use the local browser, but instead emulate the code in their own browser. Am I right about this?

You are probably thinking more along the lines of the RC API, which is a little less "native" than WebDriver. However, WebDriver will use "native" events in the actual browser. So no, you are not right.
