Summary:
OS: Mac OS sierra

I am using ThreadLocal class to run my selenium tests in parallel but the tests runs very slowly.
If we run the same tests in Windows machine even if it is of a lesser configuaration it runs smooth and fast.
This issue was not there in El Capitan.

Steps to Reproduce:
https://github.com/hemanthsridhar/WebAppFramework-CucumberJVM.git
clone this project. Make sure you have maven installed. Make sure you have the hub and node set up. Enter the following command in the bash mvn clean test -Dbrowser=chrome -Durl=nodeURL/wd/hub -DapplicationURL=http://etnabeta.cimm2.com Expected Results: Tests should run really fast like how it used to in El Capitan. Actual Results: Tests are running very slowly.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hemanth,

How are you saying that the tests are running slow ?
Have you tried taking out the browsers from the equation and running some tests which don't involve the browser spawning ?
Maybe that will give you a clear idea as to where could the problem be and where to start.
If its the spawning of browsers that is taking time, then maybe you can try different combinations to narrow down the problem a bit more.

For you to get some traction on this problem, I think you need to do a bit more homework.

Thanks & Regards
