Hello,

I'm currently on the Java version ChromeDriver 2.21 working on both Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Chrome v50.  Using Google, I was able to get most of the settings working. However, a few more seem to escape me and hopefully I can get the answers here. I'm looking to alter the settings before launching the browser, such as using ChromeOptions, rather than using automation to navigate the settings page.

The settings I'm looking to change are as follows:

  • Disable the microphone
  • Altering the default search engine in the Omnibox
  • Disable Javascript (This is only used to start up the browser without javascript. I would not need to use the webdriver after doing this)

These 3 are giving me the most issues. Any help?

Maybe these could help

contains all the command line options using which chrome browser can be spun off and these are the ones that you would try coupling with ChromeOptions.

I wasn't able to find any switch for the (2) and (3).

Thanks & Regards
