Hi all,

I am unable to execute Parallel execution on Safari, Does Selenium WebDriver supports safari parallel execution on Grid/local machine ?

System Configuration :

Windows 7 64- bit
Selenium server 41
Safari 5.1.7

Issue: 2nd Safari browser instance being in the wait state till first browser instance termination.

Same code working on MAC OS machine as expected .

Can any one help in this.

Thanks In Advance.

The Safari driver only supports one instance at a time on a given machine. It's simply a limitation of the driver.

Hearing it from Jim Evans is as good as the official word because he is one of the core development team for WebDriver !!

Thanks for the response :)

Technically any idea on whats the issue/reason,  that blocks the interaction of multiple safari instances using webdriver.

Does any have idea on approach for parallel execution on Safari in windows platform. i mean by integrating with other open source tools or using RC ?.

Thanks
