To Execute Linux commands in Server using Selenium and Java

1) Im moving a file (Say: alert.txt) from my local to a server (/datafile)
2) Logging to linux and going to the path  (Example: /datafile) and running the command: (Example: ./feed.sh )

please provide info on how to do the above steps using selenium with java.

You dont need Selenium here. You should be leveraging some of the open source libraries such as 

1. Java secure channel : http://www.jcraft.com/jsch/examples/ (or) 

to get this done.
