when to use these methods differently?

Can you please help me out.

AFAIK,

Action class'es click methods would perform the action but not wait for the action to be completed.

WebElement's click method waits for the response to be completed before the next statement is executed.

The wait for the action to complete is the only difference between the two.

Thanks Mahadevan,

One more point here ,what i observed is that...if the element not visible when the browser in minimized mode then web driver's click method throws exception but where as Action's click method performs action.

"Webdriver's click method internally checks the element is visible on the page or not while performing the action "

Thanks
Santhosh.
