I (almost) give up......Unable to use firefox/selenium from Visual Basic 6

I know, is not the languaje for the future...is not the languaje of the present... but is the languaje I use from my childhood and I fell sure it SHOULD work. It doesn´t.

I use the last version of Geckcodriver (0.32) in the right folder(s), the corresponding version of Firefox (108.0.2), the right references inside the VB6 project, but the only response I have  from the system is "Firefox failed to open the listening port 127.0.0.1:xxxxx within 15s".

Firefox starts, no problem with that, but allways the same message as soon as you try to use the webdriver. A lot of references to this problem here and there, but nothing works.

May somebody tell me a good guide to solve my problem ??
