Selenium - IE - Navigate error

Hello evevybody,

 

 

Tests C# - Selenium

Run on TFS

 

 

Test OK with browser Chrome

Test KO with browser IE :

• Driver.Navigate().GoToUrl(url);
• Failed to navigate to https…  This usually means that a call to the COM method IWebBrowser2::Navigate2() failed. The error returned is: Received error: 0x800700aa ['The requested resource is in use.']

 

On the web, the solution is

• browser.ScriptErrorsSuppressed = true;

 

Ok, but I don’t find this property for IWebDriver, neither for the otpions (InternetExplorerOptions)

 

 

Who knows ?

What’s the difference between

• use driver.navigate().to(url)

·         and Driver.Navigate().GoToUrl(url)

Could you try using the 32 bit IE driver in case you are using 64 bit, as per the below link for stackoverflow post it was solved by using the 32 bit driver

I did not find GOToUrl(URL) when I used Java. It has only navigate().to(url) is a method available
