How to automate Video streaming apps like Netflix, HotStar?

Hi All,

I want to automate the video streaming app.

Can someone please suggest the best tool to automate these types of apps.?

I am using Appium but it is not properly identifying videos option and is video is playing or not and many more like buffering (How much buffer has been downloaded) and many more.

Automate in what way? What are you trying to do? Undoubtedly, this is better catered for at a lower level of test.

Yes, this is definitely something that’s better suited to a lower level of test then.

You do not automate them. This is a test that is better run at the unit/integration level.

I'm working on same (streaming)type of application and have same doubt. My chrome browser stop working with eclipse IDE as well. Error message says use chrome version 70 to 73 but my chrome version is 75. How to fix that issue ?Any suggestion please.

               some times update Problem is happening , so uninstall eclipse and install eclipse Luna or install new version and update chrome new version and  set up, and you have set up SDk jar files.
