Selenium Grid 4 Node Max Session

I configure the NODE_MAX_SESSIONS for the grid 4 setup for chrome browser. But the session count is totally dependent on the underlying host vCPU. If the host machine has 2 vCPU I get 2 chrome sessions. and increased vCPU to 4 and the session gets increased to 4.

I was not facing this issue with the selenium grid 3 docker setup. Can anyone help me out on the configuration for selenium grid 4 browser sessions.
