WebDriver driver = new ChromeDriver();

I am getting the following error message under ChromeDriver() Type mismatch: cannot convert from ChromeDriver to WebDriver. I have installed the Selenium 3.9 Jar files (zip files and standalone server file), Eclipse and JDK Kit. 

I can't correct the error. Can anyone help with how to fix this?

Stop trying to cast ChromeDriver to WebDriver. Can’t say much more than that without seeing the code you are trying to execute.
