Hi there,
I'm trying to test browser-caching behaviour of our app in response to Cache-Control headers.  As far as I can tell, when run under Selenium, both Firefox & Chrome just ignore Cache-Control and re-request the page every time.

Is this expected?   Is it something I can override?  If it matters, I'm using selenium-webdriver 2.34 with Capybara.

For chrome you could try passing in this switch

For firefox you could try setting the cache preferences:

PS: I have not tried using these personally. so I will not be able to confirm them. But its something that you could give a try and see if that helps you.

Thanks & Regards
