I have been asked to automate a company website which only supports Internet Explorer using Webdriver (Yes I was baffled to discover that only I.E. is supported, I never knew such websites still existed for an external website!) Is there a tool or an Add-on out there that can give you the xpaths and CSS selectors of elements in I.E. similar to firebug and firepath in Firefox. I know about the Developer Tools in I.E. but it does not show you the xpath or css.
Thanks Valw

If I'm not mistaken, Firebug Lite won't offer a way to test the XPath & CSS, though it can show you the DOM/HTML source. Does it even provide an XPath/CSS generator like FirePath does? But combine Firebug Lite or some other way to offer a developer javascript console to IE (not the native IE one) and you can use this approach to test out whether some XPath/CSS expression is valid in IE or not.
