Hi People,

I have a Selenium Grid Extras setup with a couple nodes.  However I'm getting Java VM Heap errors near the end of the day.  I don't have enough nodes to enable rebooting and still have enough slack to feed our CI pipeline.

What I want to do is allocate more heap memory to those nodes.  However, I don't see any documentation on how to allocate additional memory to my SeleniumGrid nodes.

If you know how to do this in the context of SeleniumGridExtras, that would be great.

Thanks,

David Lai,
I dont think the Grid code was actually profiled for memory leaks so there is a good chance of you encountering these heap memory problems if you run your nodes for a long time.

Its better that you get hold of some additional boxes which can be used as nodes and then start using a Auto Healing mechanism [ like what we have in SeLion http://selion.io ]. I dont exactly remember if that's present in SeleniumGridExtras, but I do remember a mention of something around those lines in the last year's Selenium Conference that was held in Bangalore, India.

Thanks & Regards
