Selenium 2.48 supporting which browser versions

Can some one please share the documentation or any link  where I can see Selenium Version 2.47 and 2.48 supporting which latest version of FF , Chrome , IE.

Chrome is supported via the chromedriver ( check http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html for the latest versions and the notes file shows what versions of Chrome it supports).

IEDriverServer supports IE8, IE9, IE10, IE11 (maybe IE7, not sure).

For Firefox, I am not sure. I use the latest Firefox 41 with Selenium 2.48.

As per the changelog Change Log 2.48 supports the same version of FF as 2.47.0 :

* Supports native events for Firefox version 31 (immediately previous
  ESR). Native event support has been discontinued for versions of
  Firefox later than 33. Synthetic events tested on Firefox versions 31
  (immediately previous ESR), 38 (immediately previous release and current
  ESR), and 39 (current release).

IE version 7+ is supported and Edge is intended to have full selenium support

For Chrome it's supported by the Chromium Project directly, so you woud need to check the driver version you are using.

Going by the document you shared, marionette should be straight forward for use with Firefox in conjunction with Grid.

Good Morning.
I am wanting to use the Selenium WebDriver tool for some tests, and wanted to check with you the plaform is needed for testing and as my project integralas java.
I'm new to testing testing and want to know which of the versions of selenium is the one that integrates with Java project that JDK is minimally required to install the tool, I read in an article that you published in 2011 running with JDK 5 but in other fora to which I accedi indicate that JDK 7 is ek up.
If I could indicate how they performed the installation or as currently manage appreciate them very much.
