Selenium IDE is causing Firefox to slow down

I have just updated to the latest version of firefox, 66.0.5 and I am using Selenium IDE 3.7.2.

At a certain point on the page i am trying to test, (always the same point where i try to enter text into a textarea)  selenium stops recording and the above message appears.

I have seen that this was an issue in the past, that was fixed, but now it seems to be occurring again.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this?

Bring your firefox down at 64.0
