I'm simply using keyboard shortcuts to copy/paste commands line withing the IDE, never had any issue. Maybe it doesn't allow it in recording mode? Never paid attention to that.

I've never had trouble pasting in record mode.

Click on the space where your copied command has to go, right click, paste.

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback.

I am not trying this while recording, but I am trying to modify an existing script in the Table View.  Since your posts I've tried it in the source tab, which does work, but in the Table View is definately does not work.

The source tab I find a bit more difficult to find the correct place to copy and paste as I'm doing a lot of repetition within my script with small differences.  At least in the table view I can input comments which is displayed in another color to make it easier to find.

But thanks for the help, I will have to use the source tab for the moment.

If someone else however also experience this cut and paste problem in the table view and know of a solution, please let me know.

Thanks,
K

Until you figure out why you can't do it in the table view, you can always use an external text/html editor, probably easier than the source view of the IDE
Good luck
