Request for info: Green initiatives in Testing

Hi,

I would like to know whether there is any discussion around making the testing more "Green" or any initiatives towards it like guidelines or principles or best practices.

If it is not there, can we start a discussion on how we can make software testing using Selenium more energy efficient? 

Please let  me know your thought/comments on this
