Is Selenium IDE Windows-only?

I ask because I can't install it on Mac Firefox nor Chrome. The extension installs OK, but there's no icon to the right of the address bar. The help on that talks about the browser's "menu bar," which is not a thing on the Mac.

I was able to install on Chrome and Edge on my Mac. The Extension icon doesn't display by default and I had to open browser Extensions then mark Selenium IDE as Show. If you use a dark theme, the icon will blend in with the title bar.
