Selenium - c# - Edge

Hello eveybody,

 

I’ve some tests running in c# and Selenium : no problem for Chrome, IE and Firefox

 

I want to do the same thing with Edge, but that doesn’t work.

 

I download driver from https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/

1. Why, for latest versions, the exe is msedgedriver.exe, and for the oldest it’s MicrosoftWebDriver.exe
2. Which one is the good ?
3. On the PC, the version of Microsoft Edge is Version 85.0.564.68 (Version officielle) (64 bits) : then, I need msedgedriver, just ?
4. But I’ve got the error :

OpenQA.Selenium.DriverServiceNotFoundException : The MicrosoftWebDriver.exe file does not exist in the current directory or in a directory on the PATH environment variable.

                                                                                                                                                    ???

msedgedriver is in \bin\* directory

 

Nuggets installed :

·        Microsoft.Edge.SeleniumTools 3.141.2

·        Selenium.WebDriver.ChromeDriver 85.0.4183.8700

·        Selenium.WebDriver 3.141.0

The problem is resolved.

 

The code was :

driver = new EdgeDriver() ;

 

But in fact

               driver = new OpenQA.Selenium.Edge.EdgeDriver() ;

 

And it has to be

               Driver = new Microsoft.Edge.SeleniumTools. EdgeDriver()
