Hi All,
As a new user I tried to install Selenium IDE in Firefox browser(Version 34.0.5) but did not get 'Selenium IDE' option under Tools menu after many efforts. So could not use Selenium. Request your help in this matter.

Steps taken by me are as follows.
1--Installed successfully Firebug 2.0.7 ( from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) in Firefox browser and icon shows in browser
2--Installed sucessfully firepath( from same URL as above) in Firefox and it works
3--Installed the Selenium IDE (2.8.0) from URL http://docs.seleniumhq.org/download/ in Firefox browser and "Selenium IDE" option is not available in Tools menu.
4--Then installed "Selenium IDE"  2.7.0 from URL http://docs.seleniumhq.org/download/ in Firefox browser and "Selenium IDE" option is not available in Tools menu.

(When it asked for "Install Now" I clicked "Install Now". When it asked for Restart Now I clicked "Restart Now" button and it restarted the Firefox, but Tools menu does not show 'Selenium IDE'. I checked the Tools>WebDeveloper but "Selenium IDE" is not anywhere.
I restarted the browser myself but no solution. Restarted the completed machine but no result.
Uninstalled Firefox browser and restarted the machine and again installed Firefox browser(Version 34.0.5    version information got from help>about firefox). Restarted machine and then installed 1--Firebug, 2--Firepath, 3--Selenium IDE
No result. Firebug and Firepath works. Selenium IDE is no where available in Tools menu or in any other menu.)

Tried to install  Selenium IDE many times but Selenium IDE is no where available in Tools menu or in any other menu. For reference doc is also attached with screen shots in this post.

Particulars of machine are given below.
---------------------------------------------------------
windows 7 Professional
service pack 1
32 bit operating system
Firefox browser-34.0.5

Has anyone faced this problem in Firefox 34.0.5. Is there any solution. Is there any workaround.
Thanks to everyone in advance for help.

Thanks,
Ajay

Does the Ctrl+Alt+S shortcut work?

Ctrl+Alt+S does not work.
Tools menu does not show any 'Selenium IDE'. It is not available in Tools>WebDeveloper menu.
When I click Tools>Add-ons  it show "Add-ons Manger" tab. In this tab 5 icons are placed in left panel. Name of 2nd icon is 'Extensions'
When I click Extensions icon then in right panel I see "Selenium IDE 2.8.0" with Options, disable, Remove button.
When I click Options button I see pop up window with heading "Selenium IDE options" having  5 tab(tabs are General, formats, PLugins, Locator builders, WebDriver). Screen shot is attached with name "Selenium IDE pop up.png"

But in end I do not have any means/method to start/invoke IDE. It is not present in any menu item.
I cannot work on Selenium IDE.
Screen shot "Selenium IDE pop up.png", "Extensions-Firefox browser.png" is attached for your reference.

Note:---When I installed IDE first time and restarted the Firefox browser, then after restart of browser it displayed a message "It is embarrasing. Firefox could not load......"   something like this. Almost 4 or 5 tabs were opened at time of restart of browser. after that reinstalled IDE many time but not result.
It seems it is a peculiar problem faced by me only.

Thanks in advance.

Ajay I have the exact same problem. Selenium IDE doesn't display under the Tools menu. Did you find a solution to this problem? Here are my options. I am on FF 38.0.5.
