Please tell me how to capture the laerts in ruby

Not sure what is meant by "capture the alerts in ruby" ... are u
referring to the text inside the alert ? U can do it using:

browser = Selenium::Client::Driver.new(...)
alert_text = browser.alert

according to the doc at http://selenium-client.rubyforge.org/,
selenium won't pop up the alert that one would expect.
