Russell,

Yes I have also seen a similar kind of warning by my CORP Proxy ofcourse [ I didnt get the name of the virus that was perhaps detected though ]

@Selenium Dev,

Is there any plans on hosting the Selenium artifacts somewhere else or perhaps back into GitHub itself ?
CORP Proxies are barring access to the google storage apis domain because this domain has been used a lot of times to spread malware. This would make it difficult for users to consume selenium uber jars as well as the server artifacts.

Are there any plans on putting this back into github itself ?

Thanks & Regards

Apologies if this is irrelevant but I'm by no means a security expert.

I tried to download selenium-server-standalone-2.47.1.jar from http://docs.seleniumhq.org/download/ this morning on my corporate network, and was prevented as apparently a virus was detected, as per the attached screenshot.

The text of the error message is:

Content contained "PUS:NetTool.Win32.ProxySwitcher.d" virus. Details: Virus: PUS:NetTool.Win32.ProxySwitcher.d; File: selenium-server-standalone-2.47.1.jar; Sub File: Memory region//hudsuckr/hudsuckr.exe; Vendor: Kaspersky Labs; Engine error code: 0x00010000; Engine version: 8.1.8.79; Pattern version: 150826.042600.6309264; Pattern date: 2015.08.26 04:26:00

Has anyone else had this problem?  I'm thinking it might be a false positive but you never know...
