Epistasis crops

Hi Kathy,

Currently, I am writing my master thesis at Tilburg University and the aim of my thesis is to develop an algorithm that detects epistatic interactions in crops. It is fascinating to read about the importance of DeepSea and Selene in the domain of human genomics. I am curious in exploring how DeepSea / Selene might be able to contribute to detecting epistatic effects. 

As the focus of my thesis is related to finding associations in agricultural traits, I wondered whether you are aware of any kind of models like these related to crops? And whether you have any ideas about epistasis detection in relation to DeepSea/Selene.
