We are looking for IBM i AS400 Technical Lead at Evansville, Indiana (Remote Opportunity)

 

Needed 10+ Years’ experience

 

Mandatory Skills :

·         AS400 - Cobol

·         IBM i AS400 technical delivery

 

Looking for:

·         A seasoned Technical Lead with strong expertise handson experience in IBM i AS400 technologies

·         The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in COBOL DB2 RPG and CL programming along with excellent client interaction skills and a strong focus on quality delivery and governance

 

Key Responsibilities

·         iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL ILE CL database DB2

·         Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc

·         Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus

·         Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis

·         Estimate and Monitor Estimates

·         Work with Business teams to prioritize work

·         Prepare detailed design documentation

·         Reporting and tracking of assignments

·         Fix high priority issues

 

Required Skills Experience

·         Excellent communication stakeholder management and problemsolving skills

·         Strong knowledge of IBM i AS400 COBOL CL RPG and DB2

·         COBOL400 COBOL ILE

·         SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400

·         ILE Concepts

·         Display Files Sub Files Printer Files
