Hi,

I have Select2 dependent dropdowns and Ajax working with ColdFusion. Can I submit this to the site so others can look at working examples? How?

Regards,
Chris.

Was this wiki page created? If so, can you point me to it? I'm trying to use Select2 with remote data loading from a CFC but have not had success yet. I'm brand new to Select2 so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm trying to have users put in a search term and have the possible choices available as they type. I want them to be able to select multiple choices and I need to display the text while also passing the ID of each choice.
Example, type in an employee's last name, display the first and last name but pass the employee ID as the value. I want users to be able to select and submit multiple employees.
Thank you!

It looks like a page was created a while back for this.

https://github.com/select2/select2/wiki/ColdFusion

But the page does not appear to have been updated for Select2 4.0.0. It looks like most of the topics covered in the wiki should still apply, but you no longer need to use a hidden input, you can just use a standard select for everything.

Using energy as a practical reference tools like a digital multimeter help improve accuracy when checking electrical values while the Select2 discussion shows how proper selection in interfaces reduces confusion and errors in data handling both ideas connect through the importance of clear inputs and reliable readings which ultimately support better decisions in technical and everyday contexts

The Red Thunder one-handed keyboard mouse combo fits well into workflows where users are constantly interacting with dense UI elements like advanced form selectors discussed in the Select2 community thread. It can make navigation and selection tasks feel more fluid when dealing with multiple dropdowns and searchable inputs in complex interfaces. For developers and users alike, it highlights how input device setups can directly influence efficiency in web application interactions without changing the underlying UI logic.

The discussion in the Select2 thread highlights how dynamic selection interfaces can improve filtering and search usability in web components. This connects well with how truck owners often browse retractable bed covers, where clear filtering by fitment and style makes the experience smoother. Whether it is improving UI selection logic or choosing the right truck accessory, the focus is on making complex options easier to navigate.
